Webinars

A Zoom webinar is not the same as a Zoom meeting. The main difference being that whilst you will be able to see the presenter, co-hosts and the presentation on screen, they will not be able to see you and you will not be able to see anyone else who is at the event.

When you register Zoom will automatically send you an acknowledgement and automatic reminders leading up to when the webinar is due to take place. Sometimes automated emails go into junk folders so it is important, therefore, you check your junk mailbox as these emails will have login details.

We are now able to offer a recording of the webinar after the event to delegates that attended the live session. Councils will also be able to register to watch the recording if they were not able to make it to the live event. We will provide you with a copy of the presentation and supporting documentation. If the topic has a dedicated guidance page on our website any responses to questions raised will be added under the Q&A section on that page.

This new learning model is a collaboration with our neighbouring county associations. Our partnership aims to ensure that training will be relevant to current and emerging needs of our sector, delivered by subject specialists and practitioners and cost effective to ensure that even the smallest Parish Council can book their Councillors and Staff.

The benefits of us working together with our colleagues across our region will be reflected in our competitive pricing model and on occasions our ability to offer free training.

Training topics are continually reviewed and updated to keep relevant to current and emerging needs of our sector. They are delivered by specialists and practitioners and cost effective to ensure affordability to even the smallest Parish Council.

£30 per session; available to members only.
