Health and Wellbeing
The TeamDoctor creates award winning content and recently launched their nationally accredited 'Looking after your mental health at work' course featuring some of the UK's leading specialists in their fields. The course carries 3 CPD points.
The course and content aim to prevent as well as solve existing problems and the course format means it is easy to introduce as part of your learning and development programme annually, so everyone in the organisation, from top to bottom, has the opportunity to learn from the content and seek further help if required.
The course creators are acknowledged as the UK's leading providers of film, animation and audio content designed to help people improve their health. Their films and courses are widely used in the NHS under 'The Sound Doctor' label, (part of TeamDoctor) and evaluations consistently demonstrate effectiveness through behaviour change and enhanced outcomes.

To access the course click here at discounted price of £20 per delegate.
If you want to buy for a number of employees please contact: info@teamdoctor.org for volume discount rates.

Nimble - our e-learning portal

In partnership with our neighbouring county association colleagues, we can offer our members access to a broad range of general topics as e-learning courses. Whilst they are not specifically tailored to the local council sector they enable officers and local councillors to gain a good understanding on a range of topics such as data protection and health and safety. Once you have booked your place you will be registered onto our e-learning portal and provided with a login and password. This will enable you to access the programme you have enrolled onto, which you can complete over the next 12 months.

Webinars
Welcome to our range of webinars, which will continue to grow over the next 12 months as we adapt and offer new ways of providing services to our member councils.
This new learning model is a collaboration with our neighbouring county associations. Our partnership aims to ensure that training will be relevant to current and emerging needs of our sector, delivered by subject specialists and practitioners and cost effective to ensure that even the smallest Parish Council can book their Councillors and Staff.
The benefits of us working together with our colleagues across our region will be reflected in our competitive pricing model and on occasions our ability to offer free training.
