Information Sharing - Parish Online
One of the benefits of being part of the Norfolk ALC network is the ability to share information and knowledge to avoid reinvention of the wheel and costly duplication. We have been exploring with Parish Online the potential benefits of using a map based system specifically to help parishes compare prices and service levels and we would now like to offer this to our members. As a result we currently we have two national datasets available – allotments, cemeteries and burial grounds but the local data is missing. We are keen to encourage parishes to contribute – which they can do free of charge, so that they can share local information and make comparisons. New Parish Online User Forum
Whether you are already a Parish Online licence holder or want to find out more about how digital mapping can help support the work your local council does, Norfolk ALC have joined a pilot user forum with the assistance of the Somerset Association of Local Councils. There is no charge to attend and you don't have to be a licence holder to participate.
