Congratulations to Harling Parish Council on its successful LCAS accreditation at Quality level, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and development. Receiving the Quality Award is an excellent achievement showing that Members and Clerk of Harling Parish Council achieve good practices in governance, community engagement and council improvement.
Parish Clerk, Mrs Kate Filby said; “Just wanted to say thank you so much for helping us achieve our Quality Award with NALC, I’m really proud of us as a Council for this but could not have done it without your help.”
This Council already held an Award at Foundation level, and its determination to progress to Quality level shows it has gone above and beyond the legal obligations – demonstrating good community leadership and a commitment to seek opportunities to continuously improve and develop for public benefit.
The Local Council Award Scheme (LCAS) has been designed to celebrate the successes of the very best local councils and to provide a framework to support all local councils to improve and develop to meet their full potential. The scheme offers councils the opportunity to show that they meet the standards set by the sector, assessed them by their peers, and put in place the conditions for continued improvement.
