The government is offering a free portrait of His Majesty The King to all town, parish and community councils in the United Kingdom from 12 February. Closing date for applications is 28 March.
Village Hall Small Grants Fund
Grants of between £2,000 and £5,000 to help make improvements to rural community buildings in England. Grants are intended to support smaller capital projects in village halls such as boiler replacements, insulation, toilet upgrades and new kitchens.
COVID-19: Day Of Reflection 2024
On 3 March, Marie Curie is holding the fourth Day of Reflection, encouraging people to come together to remember those who died during the COVID-19 outbreak. Councils are encouraged to get involved to ensure that bereaved people can take a moment to acknowledge their grief, take time and space to reflect and commemorate, and to support one another.

Let’s Celebrate Towns – run by Visa and supported by the British Retail Consortium – is a nationwide showcase, celebrating the hundreds of Towns across the UK that are helping businesses and communities to thrive. Winning towns will receive £15,000 toward a community project or initiative.

A new Urgent Health Help landing page has been developed on the ICS website to support the public to understand what health services are available locally, and to help people use the appropriate healthcare service for their needs. A simple, print-friendly poster has been developed to signpost to this new webpage, which has been translated into 17 different languages.

Members and supporters of CPRE Norfolk are being asked to participate in a study aiming to explore the different ways in which people value the landscape. This study aims to explore the different ways in which people value the landscape, and incorporate such perspectives into landscape planning and policy.
