Big Butterfly Count 2020

Big Butterfly Count 2020

17 July to Sunday 9 August

The Big Butterfly Count is an annual UK citizen science survey organised by the Butterfly Conservation. This project, which is the world's biggest survey of butterflies, aims to assess the health of our environment by counting a selection of our most common butterflies (along with a couple of day-flying moths). Details on how to take part, including free poster/chart and app for a phone, are available on the Big Butterfly Count website.
