BUS SHELTER SOLAR LIGHTING

There is a new product from our partners, Westcotec, which may be of interest.

Westcotec are proud to launch a new product which has been co-developed with Nexus Alpha for fitment into existing or newly installed bus shelters. The aim is to bring a cost effective solar powered light with an optional inbuilt information board. The low powered system uses a solar panel so that it can be installed without the need for a mains power supply, ideally suited for rural locations. The bright LED light completely fills the bus shelter, so increasing security and reducing vandalism. The optional information display can then give a bus arrival schedule if connected via the cloud.

They are currently talking to Norfolk County Council about the inclusion of this product into their Parish Partnership Scheme for 2021.
