NALC - Coronavirus updates

Last night, the Government announced a third national lockdown and have also published guidance on what you can and cannot do over the next month or two.

In summary:

  • One should work from home wherever possible.
  • Community centres and halls must close, except for a few exempt activities, together with our outdoor sports facilities, but open spaces, play areas, car parks and public toilets can remain open.
  • Vulnerable people are asked to shield again

National ALC's coronavirus case studies from previous lockdowns provide some useful ideas of support for our communities during these challenging times - pages 107 to 112 relate to our town and parish councils in Norfolk.

We will be updating our information provided regularly, but if you would like further advice and support now then please contact us at Norfolk ALC.

For now, keep well, keep safe and, to repeat our earlier quote, let us try to believe that CS Lewis was right when he said "There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind"
