EXPERIENCE (Experiential Tourism to Extend the Visitor Season) Survey – Click here to take part!

EXPERIENCE (Experiential Tourism to Extend the Visitor Season) is a major project to attract visitors in the off-peak season across six areas of England and France by offering appealing new activities or 'experiences'.

In Norfolk, organisations and businesses will be hands-on in creating unique experiences to attract visitors in the autumn and winter months, in order to extend the tourist season and bring money into the local economy year-round. The aim is to develop sustainable tourism between October and March. Therefore, as well as generating economic prosperity, the project aims to bring benefits to the environment and communities, and to mitigate any impact of increased visitor numbers.

As part of the project, this survey aims to understand local resident perceptions of the social, economic, and wellbeing impacts of seasonal tourism at the outset of the project.

Please click here to take the survey, you have until Thursday 31 March to get your voice heard.

Participants can be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £40 Jarrold voucher. Thank you for taking part!

EXPERIENCE is a €23m project led by Norfolk County Council which is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg France (Channel) England Programme. To find out more or to sign up to our newsletters go to www.norfolk.gov.uk/sustainabletourism.
