Dereham Town Council showcased in NALC's Points of Light 2022

NALC has published it's latest Points of Light Report, showcasing local council initiatives from across the country. Dereham Town Council has made page 11 of this report, with a case study on their community car scheme.

Points of Light is a collection of case studies highlighting the work that local (parish and town) councils are undertaking to support their communities. Each case study features a summary of the work carried out alongside electorate, precept and expenditure figures of the local councils involved. The case studies have been compiled to promote good practice and raise awareness of the work local councils are undertaking.

Research for Points of Light comes from a range of sources, including direct submissions by local councils, county associations, entries to NALC's Star Council Awards and local news stories. So, remember to let us know if you have a new initiative worth sharing.
