For Town and Parish Councils in Norfolk, the deadline for submission of AGARs to PKF Littlejohn is this Friday, for their 31 July deadline. You need to request an extension if you are not going to achieve that. Para 2.16 of the latest 2020 JPAG Guide says staff costs for Line 4 now exclude mileage and other travelling and subsistence allowances, whereas the March 2019 Guide said to include such mileage and travel expenses here. We have today been sent details of the numbers of councils who had submitted the appropriate forms to PKF Littlejohn by 1 July. The data suggests that 97 councils in our area had not sent the Exemption Certificate or the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) to PKF Littlejohn by this date.
