Norfolk Against Scams Partnership Charter
Norfolk ALC is pleased to be recognised as being a member of the Norfolk Against Scams Partnership whose four key aims are:
1. raising awareness,
2. prevention and protection,
3. identification and recording and
4. enforcement, access to justice and restoration.

Parish Council Scam
A local District Councillor was impersonated and a new email address was created by the scammers (Executivecommittee4i5@gmail.com), and several emails using this new email address and pretending to be the Councillor was sent to all of the parish council councillors. Several of the emails asked the councillors to purchase gift cards on the Councillor's behalf.
