One of the great things about these courses is the input from the other attendees. It covered a lot of ground and I would recommend it for any Parish Councillor interested in how the planning system in the UK works. It was also a chance to get questions answered by an expert, so useful on that count too. (May 2021)

The government has published new planning practice guidance (PPG) on housing for older and disabled people. It seeks to guide planning authorities in preparing planning policies on housing for older and disabled people.
