Pete Strange
Wellbeing Officer
Pete Strange joins Norfolk ALC to take responsibility for Wellbeing Communications and Engagement. Pete has many years' experience working in local government allied with working in private industry. A trading standards officer by original training he has experience managing Environmental Health, Street Trading and Licensing. After leaving enforcement services Pete had several years working in the Built Environment and Regeneration. This was followed by time working for a private consultancy offering policy development and training and finally working in Events and Exhibitions.
Pete says "I am delighted to be joining Norfolk ALC. This has been a challenging time for individuals and communities dealing with COVID and lockdowns. The way we have pulled together to look after each other shows the wealth of resources and goodwill that exists to enable us to face up to the challenges that still lie ahead. I look forward to working with councils across the county to deal with problems and take advantage of opportunities to improve the lives of everyone who lives and works in Norfolk"
