Just a reminder to our National Assembly members as well as clerks and councillors who would like to get involved in National ALC (NALC) governance, we launched our elections back in August and the deadline for submitting nominations is fast approaching! We are also inviting councillors and clerks who are not members of the National Assembly to get involved too!
Calling all Councillors and clerks who might be interested in standing for a post on either the larger councils’ committee or the smaller councils’ committees. These seats are for councillors and clerks who are not National Assembly members but who wish to participate is NALC committees.
Featuring adverse possession, Freemen – use of gender-neutral terms, Implementation of sections 15 and 16 of the Local Government Act 1972, and Recording meetings.
Highlights from a busy year, including updates on the Civility and Respect Project, improved services offered to member councils, promoting local councils, policy motions and engagement.
